2. What Data We Collect
When you vote in our pub surveys, we collect:
Your name
Your email address
Your vote(s) for your favourite pubs
We do not collect any payment information, sensitive data, or tracking data for marketing purposes.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use this information to:
Count and verify votes in our surveys
Contact prize draw winners
Notify pubs about their results (in anonymised or aggregated form)
We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or sell your data to anyone.
4. How We Store Your Data
Your responses are stored securely in a Google Sheet that only our small team can access. Google’s systems are GDPR-compliant and data is stored securely within their platform.
We keep your information only as long as necessary to:
Verify votes and run competitions for the current season
Contact winners (up to 3 months after the end of a season)
After this, personal details (name/email) are deleted or anonymised.
5. Your Rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
Access the data we hold about you
Ask us to correct or delete your data
Withdraw your consent at any time

6. Third Parties
We do not share your personal data with anyone except for the purposes listed above (for example, we may contact a winning pub to co-ordinate prize collection).
